I take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Ram Gopal Verma for making movie, Rann. He tried his best to show the real face of today’s electronic media which is more interested in TRP rating rather than showing the truth. Media is said to be the fourth pillar of Democracy and was to play a role of medium between public and the legislature, but sadly they have forgotten their responsibility and have chosen to play in the hands of industrialists and politicians for their vested interests. Now they have gone to the extent of creating the news on the desk. I hope this film will encourage other film makers to make more on this subject and force media people to think on and come out with true journalism.
