A sinister bias seems to be very much there in covering terror events. The news of arrest of one Yahya appeared on front page of several newspapers with photographs and fiery headlines (see TOI February 23). However, not even a remote corner of the page was dedicated to the arrest of eight activists of RSS and Hindu Munnani for triggering blasts in the RSS office at Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu.
Our media should live up to the expectations of people and provide them with truth and unbiased account of events. Because journalism is not a trade or commerce it is trust of the people in the courage, truth and efficiency of journalists which must not be betrayed.
