Maulana Ilyas Nadvi Bhatkali, the General Secretary of Islamic Academy Bhatkal said that in modern India the big issue with young Muslim generation is mental apostasy. The youths are being made victims of mental apostasy. This is being done through rationalist attacks. The object of these attacks is depriving the Muslim youths of their faith in Tauheed (Oneness of God). The Maulana was speaking to the audience in a prize distribution ceremony of “Maulana Ali Mian Nadvi Memorial and Educational Welfare Society” which was organised in Bhopal on March 26, for those who passed ‘Islamiyat Courses’.
Maulana Nadvi emphasised the need of propagation of Islamic teaching and Dawah. He further said there is a need to acquaint the non-Muslim brethren with Islamic teachings of peace and fraternity. He said that for this purpose quiz competition based on Islamic teachings be organised. In those competitions prizes should be given to the bright competitors. And they should be open to all citizens irrespective of faith and religion. Through such methods we can disseminate Islamic knowledge far and wide.
