A Sanskrit saying came to my mind as I read the following matter at presstv.com.A Sunday report on the website of the Wall Street Journal said the US Defence Department needs an Iranian-researched and produced medicine to treat the foreign forces in Afghanistan, who get bitten by “Oxus” cobras, Hally’s pit vipers and other snakes peculiar to South West Asia, while requirement of special licences for medical supplies to Iran and impossibility of money transfers (because of unilateral US sanctions against Iran) is jeopardising lives of millions of patients in Iran.
Referring to the Iranian antidote HadiZareh, Razi’s anti-venin department said,“We make this to save lives, and it does not matter if the person is Iranian or Afghan or American. We are happy to hear we have saved a person’s life even an American soldier”.The sayingI recollected is,“Even if you feed a snake with milk, it gets converted to venom.”
