All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has urged the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) to initiate criminal action against Narendra Modi for comparing Hyderabad with Kashmir and terming it as a terrorist hub. AIMIM leader and Charminar MLA Ahmed Pasha Quadri submitted a representation to CEO IV Subba Rao that Narendra Modi made derogatory remarks against Hyderabad at a public meeting. They took strong objection to the remarks and said Modi was trying to provoke communal violence by disturbing the peace between the majority and minority communities. Quadri and other MIM leaders urged the CEO to arrest Modi and initiate criminal action against him for violating the election model code of conduct. The CEO assured to examine the video tapes of the public meeting and take necessary action.
