Dr. Zafarul-Islam Khan, President All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, said in a press statement on 8 January that the attack by Sangh Parivar goons on the official residence of Majlis Ittehadul Muslimin Member of Parliament, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, is highly condemnable. It shows the rogue nature of the Sangh and points out the cruel and traitor nature of Delhi Police which failed to prevent as well as arrest the attacking goons who fearlessly moved around in a high security zone attacking and ransacking the house of an important leader and spokesman of the Indian Muslim community at Ashoka Road. Media was able to cover but blacked out the attack while the Police remained blissfully unaware despite all the CCTV cameras in the area. Dr. Khan has written to the Delhi Police Commissioner, asking him to take immediate action against the saffron goons and the police officers who allowed the attack to take place and failed to nab the criminals.
