Sri Lanka Muslims have formed another political party aiming to develop their community. Speaking at a special press briefing held in Colombo Minister Risath Bathiyutheen said the voice for the Muslims has been subverted as a tool of other political forces and lost its individuality. Minister Bathiyutheen will act as the leader of the newly formed party named All Ceylon Muslim Congress (ACMC). The ACMC blames Sri Lanka Muslim Congress leader Rauff Hakeem of having taken an authoritarian role in the party and annexing it to another major political party.
