Around a thousand Muslims, on 17 May, set off on a 300-Km long paidal-march from Malegaon, Maharashtra, to Mumbai under the banner of Muslim Reservation Federation demanding from the government to reserve 20 per cent seats for minorities in its every key department. The march started from ShahidonkiYadgaar in Malegaon and expected to reach Mumbai in ten days. After reaching Mumbai the Federation will hold an assembly in Mumbai’s Azad Maidan.
