The illegal picking up of Muslim youths has become the order of the day and till now Muslims remained silent of the open atrocities and injustices meted out to them. However with the beginning of the acquittals of innocent Muslim youths by courts, it seems that the community has got into its grooves as in the last 10 days three programmes have been organised in different parts of the country condemning the illegal arrest of Muslim youths. The first such convention was organised on Mar 31 by All India Milli Council which received the support of almost all the major Muslim organisations, namely AIMMM, JIH, Welfare Party of India, Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind, etc. Later on Apr 2 another convention was organised by Ghulam Ghaus, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council. The recent one was in Darbhanga on Apr 6, organised by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. Maulana Arshad Madani raised his voice against the injustice and illegal arrest of the Muslim youths. Dozens of youths have been illegally picked up from Darbhanga, Madhubani and other parts of Bihar since November 2011.
