Muslims can play a very important role in the upcoming 2014 polls. And this time presence of AAP in the contest has made the elections more interesting and challenging for Muslims to cast their votes sensibly and tactically because all parties will have Muslim candidates to confuse them so that they are unable to vote meaningfully. Dummy candidates will also be there to damage the political calculation of Muslims. It is in the interest of Muslims to vote en bloc and not fall in the hands of political parties who can try to divide their votes in one way or another. And under such circumstances the role of Muslim leaders becomes very important.
