It may be true, even as complained by RSS chief, that services of Mother Teresa, or for that matter of any Christian missionaries, charities or organisations, to Indian society in the fields of education, medical services, etc., without any discrimination whatsoever, always won the heart and mind of common people, and many a time influenced the poor in other religions to convert to Christianity.
One wonders what prevents the practitioners of other religions to relent and vie with Christians to treat all poor people without discrimination in charity and social services and prevent forced conversions based on material gains if they think it is truly the case. Every religious group has its richer sections, which unfortunately do not realise that service to humanity is service to the Creator but squander their resources in egoistic pursuits.
Incidents like attacks on churches, temples, mosques and unfair personal attacks on religious personalities in the form of cartoons as well as resulting violent reactions and counterattacks smack of intolerance. They are against pluralism guaranteed by constitutions of all nations, and should be condemned.
While the Constitution of India confers freedom to each citizen to profess, practise and propagate the religion of his choice, we find in practice certain fascist elements hell bent on imposing their own narrow-minded philosophy of considering only followers of their own religion or even their own caste as Indians and others at the most second class citizens, who do not have right even to their life, forget about their honour and faith. They misquote even Mahatma Gandhi as being against all conversions. The fact is that these intolerant elements are unsuccessfully trying to impose their fascist and Zionist philosophy, on all others, through their satanic conspiracies since time immemorial.
These fanatics are actively using ‘money, media, and mafia’ as tools to inject in the name of nationalism, the fanatic western culture of taking life as ‘a question of belly and that bellow the belly’. Abuse of ‘women’ in the name of liberty which stands exposed in the west is clamped to corrupt our society. Our youth are tempted to practise the Machiavellian thinking that ‘everything is fair in love, war and politics’.
Animals too deserve to be treated with love and kindness. But, the premise that human life, for the service of which all the remaining creation exists, is supreme, is ignored while passing laws like those banning cow slaughter, while man slaughter goes on unending.
Daily discussions on ‘murders of whistle-blowers’ and letting off criminals due to ‘lack of evidence’ continue to expose all the so-called national parties hands in gloves when it comes to indulging in crime and corruption.
Such hypocrites want everyone to put one’s nation before religion due to their lack of firm faith in the unity of creator and of humanity, forming common denominator of all true religious scriptures including Upanishads, which say ‘Ekam Evadwaitam’ or ‘He is One without a second’; and lecture all about G-1 and not G-20 or G-8, when convenient to themselves, as in case of addressing UNSC.
