The IB in a report to Prime Minister has alarmed that certain foreign funded NGOs are threat to national security and may come in the way of economic development. This is nothing but an attempt to win laurels from the prime minister or an attempt to remain in the good book of the government because some of the text mentioned has been found to be taken from earlier speech or statements made by Narendra Modi before becoming prime minister. Many believe that it is an attempt to either punish those who were against the interests of the BJP or Narendra Modi. The NGOs will be now monitored so that they cannot raise their voice against the government. If so, this would go in the long way to throttle democracy.
