This refersto the letter from Youhanna Qureshi (Radiance, 13 June 2026) about the Prophet ﷺ is praised and glorified next to Allah. Yes, it is absolutely right, and it is Islam’s first basic faith i.e. basic pillar out of five pillars. The first basic faith pillar is Shahadah i.e. the proclamation of faith in one God Allah, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His Messenger i.e. LA ILAAHA ILLALLAH, MUHAMMAD UR RASOOLULLAH. This belief of praising Allah first and then testifying that Muhammad ﷺ His Messenger proves that Muhammad ﷺ is praised and glorified next to Allah.

Development Sans Goal-Posts! Whither India?
Vision in the life a man makes all the difference. A driver sitting on the steering needs to be serious about his route as well as destination. While the rulebook in hands, directions serve their purpose, alertness and seriousness of the driver takes the vehicle to the destined location. Lack of seriousness and questionable intentions are ruining the country today.
It is disappointing to see governments and authorities oflate are engaged, busy
to act like builders, real estate agents and abandoning their duty of ruling. According to report in the Hindustan Times(June 4, 2026) Maharashtra government and Prasar Bharati are to develop a world-class film and TV hub in Mumbai’s Malad with state-of-the-art facilities and international partnership. Spending of tax-payers’ money on a non-profitable, aimless project certainly speaks volumes about the ability of these rulers. Perhaps these projects are to be beneficial to the leaders of the ruling party and its cadre. First of all, contracts for various development, construction are given to ‘our-men’, a handsome additional land always included in the land allotted at a highly concessional rate is charted out to be traded in market in bits for setting up commercial outfits. Days of competitive biddings, allotment of work to the eligible, monitoring of progress and standard are no more counted. These clandestinely created bits generate huge benefits to the middlemen. Thus, such projects seldom create jobs.
Main contracts for construction are awarded to men with influence; and work standards, experience are hardly counted. Numerous reports of collapsing of bridges while still under construction, uprooting, cracking of roads, falling of rope-way bridges, dams, high-ways emerging from various states are all indicators of their intentions. They speak volumes about so-called leaders, public servants’‘honesty’, integrity and the very aim behind such projects. There is lack of accountability and none to question! Match-fixing appears to be common everywhere. Huge structures built much earlier, even before Independence look strong today. With the passage of time, standard in every aspect of life has eroded.
An immediate alert on the part of administration alone will save the day and brighten future.

Only Islam Can Save Us
It is unfortunate that the West now appears to be leading the way in disregarding the rules-based international order. It acts as it pleases, with little regard for human rights or moral responsibility. We are witnessing thousands of innocent men, women, and children being slaughtered, yet there is no accountability.
It feels as though we are living in a lawless jungle where power prevails over justice. ONLY ISLAM CAN SAVE US.
