The sectarian clashes led to the death of a Muslim and resulted in the mosque being locked. The issue flared up when the two sects came vehemently pressing for their demand to have separate Imams to lead the particular sect during prayer. The issue got further aggravated and led to the arrest of a dozen of Muslims along with one death. The FIR has been filed in the Narpat Ganj police station; however the tensions have scaled to significant scales since the arrests.
