Addressing a huge gathering at a “Seerah Conference” in Jaipur, Maulana Muhammad Rafeeq Qasmi, National Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, asserted that our present problems can only be solved by following the teachings of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be to him). He said 1400 years ago women and weaker sections were stripped of their rights, however with the teachings of the Messenger they got their rights, so if we today follow his teachings, we can again bring things to good. On this occasion, Mohd. Nizamuddin, State Secretary for Community and National Issues, spoke about the rising oppression against women and infanticide and drew a contrast as how the Messenger gave women their rights, elevated the level of mother three times of father and gave glad tidings to the one who raises a girl child.
