The Delhi High Court asked the Delhi Police to open a gate, barricading of which had led to a clash in Jor Bagh in January, for a day. Rejecting the argument of police that its opening could lead to a law and order problem, the court directed them to open the western gate near Karbala Mosque, on the occasion of ‘Nauchandi Jumerat.’
