In Gaza’s skies, a somber tale unfolds,

Despair echoes through indiscriminate bombs, innocence sold.

Occupation’s grip, insatiable greed,

Triggered on Oct 7, a debate of decades, indeed.

Schools and hospitals, caught in the strife,

Refugee camps razed, disrupting life.

Beneath rubble, thousands breathe their last,

West Bank not spared.A tragedy vast, its impact unsurpassed.

Two million starve, basic needs denied,

Water and food scarce, fueling pleas worldwide.

Medicine elusive, a cruel twist of fate,

From infants to elderly, all bear the weight.

Uncle Sam’s supply, bombs not rare,

Advancements aside, destruction to bear.

Illegally occupied, a nation’s plight,

Gaza longs for a day when it sees the light.

Children dream of a beach once more,

UNO mute, a silent plea implore.

Unchecked genocide, 23,000 souls,

Displaced, wounded, as darkness takes its tolls.

Gaza’s plea for freedom, silent but strong,

When will the world let it belong?

Fresh air, a dream, a distant shore,

A yearning for peace, forevermore.

In pain, Gazans still hold onto hope,

From river to sea, they dream of freedom’s scope.
