The Delhi High Court recent verdict, officially legalising homosexuality clearly exposes the fatal weakness of secular democracy which refuses to respect anything as sacred, even divine scriptures can be defined by democratic vote, erasing from Indian societies thousands of years of religious practice. The lifting of all sanctions against this sexual perversity can only unleash a flood of obscenity and lewdness not to mention greatly fuelling the AIDS epidemic. Condoms will not be of any avail.
The writer of this letter from Lahore is deeply worried about the Delhi court verdict because anything which happens in India directly affects Pakistan and other neighbouring countries.
How foolhardy are those in power who mindlessly repeat in the East all the catastrophic mistakes of the West.
