Recently Ilham Omar, a member of the United States House of Representatives, claimed that in India preparations are on for a genocide. This has been reported by Arfa Khanam Sherwani of The Wire in her telecast on June 19. The Wire has quoted several events of this preparation which has entered the 8th stage.
There are several methods of hatemongering and poisoning of the minds of common citizens. It appears that there is a well-planned conspiracy by communal and fascist elements to disturb peace in India on a large scale. Or is it the strategy adopted for polarisation of Hindu votes for 2027 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh?
Reports by ANI and several other news channels are full of such negative narratives. The Credible History (TCH) channel of Ashok Kumar Pandey has given details of how some rabblerousers are busy in inciting people to take disruptive action by taking law in their hands. A few days ago, a mosque, which has been standing on a graveyard land near Sambhal and registered with the Waqf Board, was demolished by district officials on flimsy charges without listening to the concerned party. They alleged that many “I Love Muhammad” posters and one green flag were recovered from the masjid. Besides, six mosques in Kashi and Varanasi are at the target of the administration.
A dangerous rabblerouser woman named Nazia Ilahi Khan, who from her statements appears to be a tout of the communal party of India, asked the 120 crore Hindus to stand up and demand that the 20 crore Muslims must be barred not only from government jobs but also private jobs, to protect the rights of the Hindu majority. Several poisonous hate-filled anti-Muslim videos by hypocrite pseudo-Muslim women are available on social media. She claims that she is an advocate of the Supreme Court of India. This has been denied by the advocates association.
There are so many reports of how urgent notices have been issued to a large number of mosques in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, etc. to the effect that they should be ready for bulldozer action.
It is highly condemnable that all sorts of illegal actions are being taken by governments with impunity. Should minorities in India, especially Muslims, resort to widespread protests and be ready for vindictive response by the government machinery as we see in the case of Omar Khalid and several others. It seems Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have decided that they would bury the Constitutional guarantees which have been assured to all the citizens of India.
The life of the Muslim minority has been made extremely difficult. Is the Supreme Court of India in deep slumber? It is time for the well-wishers of Indiato make tireless strivings to protect the spirit of democracy and Constitutional guarantees. Don’t destroy India. Do your duty. Be just. Otherwise, the days are not far off when the evil forces would be there in the dustbin of history.
