Benazir Bhutto is now no more. The doubts on how she died are many. A few points, indicating the need to critically analyse the popular media reports, are necessary.
Her assassination is linked to ‘Holy War’ or ‘Jihad’ but the election time, her severe government criticisms, etc, all imply it was clearly a “political assassination” not a “Jihadi act”.
The media is still crying on the spoof of Taliban, when their people neither confirmed without doubt that they do not attack women nor do they betray to kill. This is something only possible in bad politics as we saw in assassinations of Gandhis here in India.
Any suspected role of CIA and Mossad is deliberately neglected as if they cease to exist. Both of them have been linked to more than 80 political assassinations worldwide, especially in the Muslim world. With Musharraf so close to America, it is all the more suspicious.
The reason given for Taliban’s involvement is that they allegedly suppress women. This is a tricky and deceptive allegation. I ask why Taliban waited for so many years leaving Bhutto to even become a PM and build powerbase.
