The Makkah Governorate has started preparations for the second gathering of Makkah youth for the year 1433H. The governorate and the other groups involved in the event are organising workshops to come up with innovative and varied programmes, activities and competitions for the gathering that will be held for the second time in the holy city. The workshops are also considering the timings of the event in which 13 regions of the province will take part.
The governorate’s Director of Studies and Public Relations Sultan Al-Dousary said the gathering was aimed at shedding light on the talents and energies of the youth through various competitions and activities that would enable them to participate in drawing the development plans which would serve the country and upgrade the involvement of citizens. “The gathering is aimed at building and developing the area through the energies of the young men and women,” he added.
