Madhya Pradesh government and its police are both under suspicion on gruesome murder of IPS officer Narender Singh by mining-mafia in district Morena. Any enquiry, including even a ‘judicial’ one, will be an eye-wash because it is usual practice that political rulers generally appoint retired judges of their own liking and ideology in such judicial commissions.
With allegations coming from father of the victim against political rulers of the state, Union government should intervene to order an enquiry in complete episode including also in transfer of IAS wife of the victim by country’s premier investigating agency Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Even BJP should exhibit its creditability by change of Chief Minister, and suspension of its suspected MLA both from membership of the party and state-assembly.
Fast disposal of the case against the accused tractor-driver ensuring a time-bound hanging can only give some healing touch to wounds of young widow, who is now expected to turn into another ‘Neelam Katara’ to fight against the influential culprits till end.
