Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) is not limited to any particular religion or community. His life is open to all and one is free to get benefited from his life. This is the expression of D. Raju, Principal BBM College Davanagere, Karnataka. He was speaking at a seminar on the life of Prophet Muhammad. The seminar was organised by Students Islamic Organisation of India Davanagere Unit as part of its five-day Seerat campaign from 16 to 20 October. Unit President SIO Davanagere said that the communal harmony can only be obtained by coming closer to other religions and the Prophet Muhammad’s life is the best example of communal harmony.
The Unit covered about 25 colleges in the city with the teachings of prophet Muhammad and distributed books on biography of Prophet Muhammad among principals, lecturers and students of various colleges through this campaign.
