The Punjab and Haryana High Court again, on June 3, deferred a decision on the bail plea of former Haryana Police chief SPS Rathore, who has been convicted of molesting teenager Ruchika Girhotra in 1990. Rathore was sentenced to 18 months rigorous imprisonment by a district and sessions court on May 25. He is currently lodged in the Burail jail.
