Hailing Work of Delhi Govt. by Former UN Sec-Gen.
It is indeed a matter of pride for people of Delhi that former UN Secretary General Ban-ki-Moon appreciated nice work done in respect of health-services after visiting one of mohalla-clinics opened by Kejriwal-government in Delhi.
Delhi government has taken many more such steps in respect of health-services like free distribution of medicines, including costly ones, costly medical investigations and surgery in private laboratories and hospitals which are yet other welcome features not provided by any other state or in hospitals run by central government. Rather premier institution AIIMS charges though less than private ones for costly tests like CAT-scan, etc.
But Delhi government should provide such free medical-services only for citizens of Delhi by making it compulsory to link Aadhar card with Delhi address to OPD cards in hospitals run by Delhi government. It is not proper that Delhi taxpayers may be burdened by services provided for people of other states. Presently bus-loads of people come from outside Delhi to get such fantastic totally free medical services provided by Delhi government. Such a step will politically suit to Kejriwal government which can assure similar services for spreading its political network in other states too.

Need to Refurbish Judicial System
With almost more than nine lakh practising lawyers, India has second largest legal community in the world. Unfortunately the state of legal affairs is woeful. Court cases turn into prolonged battles. Justice is merely an afterthought. The commoners are the losers. More cases are filed everyday than the judiciary can handle. Ordinary cases, not linked with high profile persons or of media interest, take years and years to conclude. Till then, the aggrieved party suffers the agony of the wrong done to it and the perpetrators walk free. The cost of hiring the advocates is hefty. The judicial process too is expensive. We need reforms and an efficient system which pertains to more social equilibrium and free from political spectrum. It is high time we revamped the legal profession. Our judicial system must work fast and cost less.

Prejudiced Relief
This refers to the news item published in Radiance (9-15 September) under the heading, Relief; Rehabilitation shouldn’t Be Confined to Borders: Jamaat. I agree with the views expressed because the concern here is based on humanity. Neither pains and suffering nor relief and rehabilitation should be confined to any boundaries or be looked with prejudiced mind. The people and the nation should unite and stand by the victims and also express solidarity with the sufferers of any kind of natural calamities which is the call of humanity.

‘Right to Love’ or ‘Right to Destroy’
This refers to article published in Radiance, on 22 July under the heading, “Homosexuality ‘Right to Love’ or ‘Right to Destroy’? Machinations of Market Forces in Full Swing.” Homosexuality has no place in Islam. Sexual relationship between two same sex men or women is not permitted in Islam and people who dare to do this heinous crime during the time of Prophet Lut had to face the Divine chastisement. The Holy Quran and Hadith ask people to keep from such abominable acts. Hence the teachings of the Quran are for whole humanity and one should not favour homosexuality of any kind.
Homosexuality is a social crime and even media keeps on highlighting it on news channel to advertise and gain popularity. Things which are not permitted by God should not be supported or encouraged. Sex is a nice gift from God and has to be done in the rightful manner only that is among male and female within the bond of recognised marriage. Having sex by illicit relations is a crime.
