A Shame for Our Nation!
Recently Sadhvi Prachi had suggested that Muslim women should marry Hindus to escape from triple talaq and halala, etc. What a peculiar idea! But why she and her party kept mum on the recent shameful rape incidents of Muzaffarpur and Deoria shelter homes?
Nobody knows how many shelter homes of poor hapless girls are exploited in these dirty sex activities? And what about rapist Babas of India? Atrocities on SCs, STs and minorities are happening even today. It’s a shame for our nation.

Halala and Polygyny
One really fails to understand why the Supreme Court has accepted the petition which goes against what it had said in its last judgment. Sticking to its earlier stand on the personal laws, the Court should have outrigh rejected this petition instead of offering to examine the constitutional validity of polygyny and Nikah Halala. It is yet to be seen how the Muslim Personal Law Board would respond and how it is going to take up the matter.

A New Law Not Required
The Supreme Court has expressed recently its concern over increasing incidents of lynching and mob violence, and directed the Parliament to enact a separate law to curb this menace. I do not think a separate law is required to treat mob lynching as a separate offence. Lynching is murder. There are many laws to deal with murder cases. It is the duty of state and central governments to prevent lynching and book the criminals and punish them. This they are not doing instead they are being honoured. Actually lynching started with cow vigilantism and culprits are prized even by union ministers. So a new law is of no use instead present laws to deal with murder cases should be strictly implemented.

Make Mandatory Petrol/Diesel Hose Transparent
Most of us seem to have experienced being duped at one or another petrol pump through checking the routine mileage. At most of the time we are unaware that if actual billed amount of petrol /diesel is filled in the vehicle or not. Since the margin on petroleum products is less than 2% and the high electricity cost, credit cost, rising wage bill and pilferage evaporation losses eat into their margin which may leave some dealers with no option but to sell short.
To resolve this doubt of one being hoodwinked at petrol pumps the Ministry can come up with a rule to use colourless/transparent filling noses instead of black colour so customers can actually watch flow of fuel and ascertain no less quantity is filled. We have colossal talent in India just to spout for transparent hoses, so it’s a request to make this business also transparent for people.
