Link Aadhaar with EVM too

Since the last few years, a lot of ambiguity has been expressed through most of the political corners over the functioning of EVMs. Voting is a method by which the electorates appoint their representatives and so the questioning over the reliability of EVMs matters at large in a democracy like India and hence it’s high time to ensure its concrete authentication.

There is an imperative requirement of designing a secure e-voting system which can be done by linking EVMs with Aadhaar database through introducing biometric based EVMs as to save the soft fabric of democratic values which in the present scenario seems facing an unwell threat from the fanatic and ornery politicians.

Besides, this EVM system has to be further studied and innovated to reach all levels of the communities with pure neutrality in order to restore the diminishing voters’ confidence and to experience tamper-resistant elections.

People are Being Made Scapegoats

Apropos the news report “FM Sitharaman defends imposing fine for not linking PAN with Aadhaar,” it is clear to all of us that FM Nirmala Sitharaman is least bothered about the economic distress of the people. It was mostly poor people who did not link Aadhaar with PAN. They were ignorant, as they may not own televisions or buy newspapers. The amount of fine is beyond the capacity of many. The people are being made scapegoats.

Requesting Vande Bharat stop at Ambur

The fastest ever train Vande Bharat is being introduced from Chennai Central station to Coimbatore junction. We welcome it wholeheartedly. In Sha Allah it will be people friendly and serve the purpose for which it is introduced. It will help students, IT professionals, traders, businessmen and people connected with the textile industry of the region.

We, the people of Ambur, would like to make a humble request to the Union Railway Minister and all authorities concerned, MPs, MLAs and Social Activists to arrange for its stop at Ambur at least for two minutes. Ambur is internationally famous for its shoe industry and overseas customers, traders, agents and others visit this town frequently.

The Ambur leather industry earns quite a lot of foreign exchange and gives employment opportunity to thousands of men and women particularly belonging to backward classes, scheduled tribes and scheduled castes.

We also request Ambur associations to take up this matter with the authorities concerned and request for stop of Vande Bharat at Ambur.
