This refers to report “Post-Demolition, Foundation Stone of Mosque Laid” (Radiance, 20-26 April). The report has got a message for both the Hindus and Muslims as to how a dispute or problem either religious or any other can be resolved amicably without creating any hue and cry or allowing the problems to aggravate. To my memory, this could be the first instance where a mosque after having been demolished, the foundation stone of the mosque was laid within a few days with cooperation from both the communities after they themselves resolved the issue. All those indulged in hate speeches or those partners in dispute in the aftermath of Babri demolition has a lot to learn from this development and it is an eye-opener for all those who try to divide both the communities for their vested interests.
