Respected Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Saheb’s Prophetic Advice on Conversion

Had I been born in a depressed section of society, I would have opted for Islam. Conversion is the only remedy to escape from persecution. I appeal to my brethren belonging to the depressed section to embrace Islam. The sooner the better.

Recently I have been reading Ambedkarite literature. I came across respected Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Saheb’s prophetic advice on conversion which I would like to share with learned readers of Radiance.

(1) If you want to gain self-respect, change your religion. (2) If you want to organise yourselves, change your religion. (3) If you want to create a society of cooperation and brotherhood, change your religion. (4)If you want to achieve power, change your religion. (5) If you want equality, change your religion. (6)  If you want your political rights, change your religion. (7) If you want independence, change your religion. (8) If you want to gain collective strength, change your religion. (9) If you want to make the world happy, change your religion.

Had I been born in a depressed section of society, I would have opted for Islam. Conversion is the only remedy to escape from persecution. I appeal to my brethren belonging to the depressed section to embrace Islam. The sooner the better.

Improve Higher Learning Standards

With studying abroad becoming increasingly unaffordable as costs hit record highs, students aspiring for higher studies will obviously have to scout for domestic opportunities. India no doubt has excellent institutions of higher learning which have moulded great doyens of research and even Nobel laureates. However, in the new and digital age, what is essentially needed is a constant improvement of our learning and teaching standards besides our content so that we do not fall behind renowned global institutions. Such levels of scholarly excellence can be achieved by tie ups and academic exchanges besides fruitful interaction so that our institutions are as good or even better than the best in the world.

Vital Bond

In the past, the relationship between teacher and student was built on deep respect, sincerity, and dedication. Today, this bond seems to have weakened due to modern distractions, excessive use of technology and a lack of proper guidance. Earlier, students saw their teacher as a spiritual guide, and teachers considered character-building their foremost responsibility.

Even now, if teachers share knowledge with sincerity and students learn with respect, attention and hard work, this relationship can regain its true strength. The journey of learning will always depend on a strong and meaningful connection between teacher and student.

The People of Gaza

With due respect, I beg your permission to share a few paragraphs with the learned readers of Radiance with tears in my eyes & with trembling hands.

“History will write that Egypt had the Nile River and Gaza died of thirst. History will write that Saudi Arabia and the Emirates had oceans of oil while Gaza had no fuel for hospitals or ambulances. History will write that Muslims had more than 50 million soldiers but did not send a single soldier to Gaza and did not stop the genocide. History will write that billions were spent on dance parties while there was neither bread nor water in Gaza. History will record that Türkiye used the name of Islam a lot, but did not stop the massacres in Gaza. History will record that the Islamic nations blamed the rules, but didn’t stop drinking PEPSI and COCA-COLA or boycott the enemy’s products. History will record that the West took to the streets against the genocide, while Muslims and their scholars sat at home, discussing and revisiting the issue of the woman who went to the Hell because of a cat. They did not discuss the death of thousands in Gaza. History will not have mercy on all of you, rulers and ruled, after the destruction of Gaza and its people. On the Day of Judgement, everyone will be held accountable, and only there will be known who won.” (The Bohra Chronicle, December2025)

The message of foregoing paragraphs is as clear as daylight and it hardly needs any elaboration. Please join with me in praying for the Gaza people.
