Resurrection is Easier for Allah

Evidently, the initial act of creation was not at all difficult for Him. So common sense itself requires that it should be easier for Him to recreate those whom He created once before.

“And of His Signs is that the sky and the earth stand firm by His command. Then no sooner than He summons you out of the earth you will come forth. To Him belong all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth. All are in obedience to Him. It is He Who creates in the first instance and it is He Who will repeat the creation, and that is easier for Him…. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise.”

(Al Qur’ān – 30:25-27)

Not only have the sky and the earth come into existence by God’s command, but the continuity of their existence also owes itself to His command. But for His command, the whole order of things would have come crashing down within a moment.

It is not at all difficult for Him Who created and thereafter manages the affairs of the universe to resurrect human beings after they die. In order to do so, He will not have to make any elaborate preparations. A single command from Him will suffice to raise to life, from all parts of earth, all those who were ever born and thereafter suffered death.

If creation in the first instance was not difficult for God, then why should it be difficult for Him to repeat it? The act of God’s creation is before all to see. Evidently, the initial act of creation was not at all difficult for Him. So common sense itself requires that it should be easier for Him to recreate those whom He created once before.
