Herr Hitler met ignominious death at the fag end of World War II. But his spirit seems to be still alive. He appears from time to time. His latest incarnation is in Israel. He can be seen strutting proudly in his ‘promised land’ and on TV screens all over the world. He speaks and issues cleverly crafted ‘diplomatic’ statements to reveal his wisdom to be applicable by his cohorts in the western world.
This is the oft-repeated story the world has been hearing right from the inception of the Zionist state in 1948. One fails to estimate how much human blood has been spilled in the Holy Land of Palestine during the last 75 years. The historian of future is silently listening to the shrieks, groans, and cries of the innocent civilians of Palestine.
The callous and clever craftsman of the bloodbath is determined to continue his unholy game until the ‘promised land’ is emptied of the original inhabitants, or as a concession they submit and surrender as servants, slaves and untouchables.
There is another side of this vicious tale. It is about the champions of liberty, defenders of democracy and upholders of human rights. They are determined that they would defend to death the ‘devil’ till he is declared to be the champion who wins the battle of ethnic cleansing and racial purity. But they are facing a big problem. Their subjects, or to be precise citizens, have raised the flag of human dignity and freedom, revolting against the duplicity in the garb of diplomacy. The historian of future will write how they dealt with this knotty problem.
Meanwhile, the 23 lakh besieged citizens of Gaza, who are without electricity, internet or any means of communication, are suffering in dark nights and cold atmosphere. Their dwellings in North Gaza have been bulldozed and completely destroyed and devastated. The great Devil has done it under the excuse of destroying Hamas. They have been reduced to the conditions of animals or even worse than the dogs of those who swear by democracy and human dignity. The future historian will certainly write about the deplorable degradation of these wretched citizens.
As regards the rulers, kings and dictators, they have met and will meet again and again to pass pious resolutions instead of taking any serious action. They will continue this until the remorseless Devil’s hand will catch them and throw them out of their palaces, business houses and conference halls. If they do not act now to control the Israeli Devil, sooner or later, the Devil will catch them and they would be the slaves of the proposed New Middle East about which the megalomaniac bragged in the United Nations.
May God Almighty give wisdom and insight to the rulers and leaders to take concrete action against the Gaza carnage and the extermination of Palestinians.
