Public Cause research foundation (PCRF) should be complimented for instituting National RTI Awards from the year 2009 to provide a much desired boost to ‘Right-To-Information Act’ aimed to root out corruption from our governance and administrative system by inducing transparency. It is heartening to note that what should be duty of government, is being done by PCRF through money donated by renowned RTI Activist Arvind Kejriwal who donated all his award-money received as Magsasay awardee for the noble cause of popularising an Act which gave power to common citizens like that of Parliamentarians for grilling the system.
