Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah and Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, on September 9 urged Muslims all over the world to stand united on the basis of the Qur’ān and Sunnah. In a joint Eid Al-Fitr message to the nation that was read on Saudi radio and television by Culture and Information Minister Abdul Aziz Khoja, King Abdullah and Prince Sultan also called upon rich Muslims to support and sympathise with their less fortunate brethren. King Abdullah and Prince Sultan expressed their hope that God would unify Muslim ranks who follow the Holy Qur’ān and Sunnah. “May Allah unite Muslims on goodness, improve their condition and make them victorious over their enemies,” the message said.
