Jharkhand has formed separate cells in each of its districts to address the issue of eve-teasing in the state. The cell will work round the clock. Chief Minister has directed the cell to work honestly and not to force the victim’s family to come to the Police Station to file the FIR. Rather the cell itself would approach the victim’s family and file the same. The cell would launch its contact no., fax no. and e-mail ID soon.
