I came to Aligarh in 1980 and since then I have been a regular reader of Radiance. You will be surprised to know that I keep a collection of Radiance since it was in the tabloid format and also now when it is in magazine format. I can say for sure that the speaking power I have developed over the years or what I speak in the various symposia and seminars all across India is mainly because of my study on the relevant material on Muslim issues available in Radiance.
Relevant and authentic material on Muslim issues, human rights issues, constitution, women and uniform civil code can hardly be found anywhere other than Radiance. What I like the most about Radiance is that it reaches regularly every week. The contributors of articles and reports are unbiased and not tilted towards anyone. Certainly, the articles are in favour of Deen and Islam and are not for or against any community, religion, caste, sect, organisation or any political parties.
For the last so many years there has been no campaign drive in the campus. I had initiated once 10 to 12 years ago when Ziauddin Ansari Sahab used to circulate here. I had personally visited every hall and facilitated the subscription of Radiance in every hall. At that point of time its circulation reached 300 in AMU. And thereafter there has been no campaign drive for Radiance in AMU. I wish that there should be a campaign drive in various Muslim Universities and Institutions like Jamia Millia Islamia, Hamdard University, AMU, and Integral University, Jauhar University and all minority institutions, no matter how big or small. Its special issues are remarkable.
I personally appeal to all academicians, Institutions and businessmen to promote Radiance so that it reaches the maximum people, Muslims and Non-Muslims as well. They all should give maximum advertisement for its growth and development.
