Check Money Power in Polls
Considering the mind-boggling amounts that political parties have received from various donors, including business entities in electoral bonds, one wonders if there is any scope for fair play in any election in the country. The party with the highest money power is sure to have an advantage as it can lure voters with freebies and conduct a more effective campaign.
It’s high time the resources candidates use in any election are regulated so that money power does not give them an undue advantage. Ability and dedication to the public cause should be the only criteria which should sway public choices.

Electoral bonds
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s husband Dr.Parakala Prabhakar has rightly said that “the electoral bonds is not just the biggest scam in India, it is the biggest scam in the world”. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi once said on corruption that “na khaunga, na khanedoonga”(I won’t eat wrongfully, nor will I allow anyone to eat). He had also made promises about providing 2 crore jobs to the educated youths and transferring 15 lakh rupees into the bank accounts of every Indian citizen.
I wonder on what basis Prime Minister Narendra Modi is confident of winning 2024 LS elections while claiming ab ki baar 400 paar. Let us see how BJP is going to win the elections despite failures to fulfill their promises.
