This is apropos of “Tehelka Expose Reveals SP’s Double Standard on Minorities” of Radiance (26 May-1June). Justice in India still circles around the politicians and some other influential people. They buy “justice” for their money and power. No one has ever heard about a poor getting justice in the court against an influential person. In fact, the sting operation has brought to fore nothing new. It is mere an addition to what has been said for a long time. And the practice is being repeated across the country. Ironically, this is the result of political interference in every department or more clearly the increasing power of political goons. Since the politicians think themselves the most powerful persons in the country, they now try to invade the courts by subverting its decision into their favour.
