Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has drawn the attention of Egyptian and Tunis governments to let the people-friendly establishment emerge in their respective countries, stopping forthwith their long process of ridiculing Islam and unleashing violence and aggression against their own peoples. The Acting President of Jamaat, Mr Muhammad Jafar said, in a press statement, that the way these Muslim countries hanged rather mercilessly great scholars of Islam, subjected thousands of Islam-loving persons to the trials of imprisonment, and compelled countless persons to live in exile, is a dark chapter of history. The Jamaat leader lamented that instead of solving the problems of their citizens and lessening their sufferings the ruling elites of these countries had been running after power and pelf. He has also urged the citizens of these countries to practise patience and fortitude befitting to the principles of Islam.
