After every attack in India, the suspicion falls straight away on Muslims and Muslim organisations. This knee-jerk reaction of the investigating agencies can be seen in the recent Delhi High Court Blast as well. However one strange name besides the IM, HuJI, LeT, which has emerged and left everyone aghast is the name of Tableeghi Jamaat.
Tableeghi Jamaat which was founded in 1926 as an offshoot of Deobandi Movement primarily aims at disseminating the basic teachings of Islam and aims at bringing the individual change via ethical and spiritual elevation.
Recently the name of Tableeghi Jamaat came to the surface in relation to the HC blast and it has been alleged that the cell that carried out the blast may have its recruits from the Jamaat. The Jamaat is widely known for its apolitical stance and has never got associated with any political party or came up with any political agenda.
The General Secretary of Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind said that Jamaat works on character building of individuals, and it is an attempt to malign the Muslims and has been implicated to disrupt the peace and tranquillity.
