This refers to the Interview with Ravi Nair (Radiance 8-14 December). With our every step towards a new technological invention, the privacy of a man receives a new blow. Snooping, e-mail scrutiny and phone tapping all these means are being used rampantly even by the state machinery throwing all the necessary legal bindings to the wind. I think there is no remedy to this epidemic. Since the government enacts the rule and it is its duty to get the same implemented, it seems a wild goose chase to hope that accountability before any of the key officials in government will be antidote to it. It is now up to a man to take care of his privacy or alternatively say goodbye to his entire privacy and secrecy.
