A fast-track court in Delhi, while announcing its decree on a run-away marriage, noted that parents should first inculcate moral values in their children to avoid such “unpleasant situations” in future. “The parents should groom their children with utmost care, guide them properly so that they can distinguish between good and bad and inculcate good moral values in them so that the unpleasant situations like elopement are avoided,” noted Additional Session Judge Virendra Bhatt while announcing the decree.
