I read in the Radiance online about violence on Muslims of Assam and UP, and brothers right from America to India expressing their sympathies with them. What about the atrocities on innocents of Burma, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Chechnya, Albania and Bosnia to quote a few in the recent history.
Here let us remember that ’Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves’ (13:11). Prayers to Allah without obedience to His commandments will be against the saying [of the Prophet] ‘Trust in God but tie your camel’. We have to catch the bull by the horns.
We know that violence against Muslims all over the globe today is a consequence of systematic distortion of history taught especially to young minds and hate mongering of decades or sometimes of centuries by the enemies of Islam, i.e. imperialists and in our country a special bunch of Zionists (those who consider themselves superior to others by birth). Hence the urgent need of the hour is to project the true picture of Islam as the champion of unity, fraternity, and liberty for all humans and not for any particular nation, race, caste, or any classification whatsoever.

We may recall the hadith ‘A time will come when the nations will invite each other in order to annihilate you, just as people are invited towards meals.’; because ‘you will be like a twig in flood waters, and enemy will not fear you in spite of your being in great numbers due to your developing love for this world and hate for death.’ However those who will be sticking to the Shari’ah under these adverse circumstances also shall be entitled to an immense reward. Thus today we are facing the risk of total annihilation, or have to make the hard choice of halal living.
