TN State Minister Seeks Support from JIH for Lok Sabha Elections

State Food and Civil Supplies Minister R Sakkarapani, accompanied by DMK functionaries, visited the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Tamil Nadu office in Karumbukkadaion April 6 to garner support for DMK front candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

During the visit, Minister Sakkarapani appealed to JIH executives to endorse the DMK candidates contesting from Coimbatore and Pollachi constituencies. The visit commenced with a traditional welcome, as JIH president PS Umar Farook presented the minister with a shawl and highlighted the pressing needs of Karumbukkadai residents through a memorandum.
