What the U.S. sermonise about terrorism is utterly opposite from what it practices is vindicated in its approach to the West Asia policy. While the U.S. has blamed Hamas for launching rockets on Israel, it seemed to approve of the disproportionate retaliation by the Israeli war machine, which killed scores of innocent Palestinians in Gaza. The hypocrisy of the U.S. is exposed when it had remained tightlipped, when Gaza was turned as a big-cage by the Israeli army which blockaded food and medicine and cut off supplies of water and electricity for months on end. Are these not the state-sponsored acts of terror? Isn’t the U.S. breeding terrorism by its double standards on terror?
