UCC and Pluralism & Tolerance

The non-issue of Uniform Civil Code is one among few, known to be taking centre-stage every time both the government and mainstream media have nothing to discuss safely i.e. without hurting anybody that strikes back below the belt.

The non-issue of Uniform Civil Code is one among few, known to be taking centre-stage every time both the government and mainstream media have nothing to discuss safely i.e. without hurting anybody that strikes back below the belt.

It is a public secret that there is no law even if it is not uniform or comprehensive, even within so many local communities in our society, what to ‘speak of one law one nation’ or even one law for each of the so-called ‘religions’.

The fact is that it hurts a few intelligent people to admit that ‘Islamic Shari’ah’ (based on the Qur’ān and traditions of the Last Messenger of Allah) is the only genuine, comprehensive, practicable and time-tested law even today (as it will be till the Doomsday as protected by the Creator Himself).

These are the very people that point out fingers at ‘pluralism and tolerance in Islam’ without ‘knowledge’ or ‘inquisition’ to know what it actually means.

Declaration of Khilafat Nonsense

Declaration of Khilafat by Iraqi rebels is nonsense. This is not the way to achieve Khilafat or any kind of Islamic state. In fact any modern democratic Muslim state, if it follows and legislates on the basis of the Qur’ān and Sunnah is Khilafat.

Why No action against US’s snooping?

It refers to the recent revelation of snooping of BJP, Muslim Brotherhood and others by US. Repeatedly revelation of US’s snooping exposed US’s malpractices and its black face before people. How much such criminal faces of US is yet to be exposed. The very sad thing is that nobody is daring to raise voice against this criminal approach of US. Everyone is busy developing or maintaining better ties with US. It is the tragedy of modern world that instead of upholding justice, human rights and ‘law and order’, everyone prefers to the loyalty of America. It is not less than a drama that they make the law and they break it.

Sunnis, Shias, Ahle Hadith All Muslims

Sunnis and Shias have differences in minor issues of Aqida (not major ones like Tauhid, Risalat and Akhirat) and in some issues of Fiqh. Despite that OIC Fiqh Academy, dominated by Sunni Ulama and world renowned scholars, has decided that Shias and Sunnis are proper Muslims. They have decided that four Sunni Mazhabs, three Shia Mazhabs and Ahle Hadith are Muslim groups.

‘Interpersonal Skills in Islam’

I was very much impressed this issue of Radiance Viewsweekly (22-28 June 2014) after going through the cover story ‘Interpersonal Skills in Islam’ by Syed Kazim. The reason of my astonishment is that this article is based on the teachings of the Holy Qur’ān and the Hadith which is unimaginable for the fresh as well as old traditional readers of the Qur’ān and Sunnah. Such topics are very important for the morale upliftment of the Muslim Ummah, towards which the worldview is not very positive and progressive. Lastly, the unique reason is that the guidance is taken from the Divine knowledge and Prophetic traditions and not from other impure sources. So the Ummah needs to go back to the basics and nothing else if it wants to lead the world.
