A United Nations aid agency says it has run out of food supplies for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Israel has blocked all deliveries of goods into Gaza for the past several days, saying the move came in response to rocket attacks by Palestinian militants. A Gaza based official with the UN Relief and Works Agency said no food aid would be available. Earlier in the day, Israel denied a UN request to allow an aid convoy to enter the enclave.
