Jundub bin Abdullah relates that the Messenger of Allah said: “One who offers early Morning Prayer (Fajr Salat) goes under the protection of Allah. You should therefore maintain yourself in such a way that Allah may not have to call upon you to account for; if Allah calls upon somebody to account for and he is found wanting then he would be straightway sent to Hell.”

(Sahih Muslim)

Many are the benefits of saying prayers (Salat). In this hadīthAllah’s Messenger ﷺthrows light on the benefit of saying the early Morning Prayer (Fajr Salat). A believer can realise on his own pulse that when he offers Fajr Salat on time, his entire day passes in a well organised manner. It is somewhat difficult to get up early in the morning, especially after having insufficient sleep in a short summer night and while lying on a warm cozy bed in a long winter night. But it is not that much difficult for a practising Muslim; for he prefers the Will of Allah to his own comforts and to whatever he owns. So he loves to leave the bed however warm and cozy for the sake of Allah alone and says the Fajr Salat on time, and thus goes under the protection of Allah. Then he also sees to it that whatever he does during the rest of the day is in accordance with Will of Allah, and nothing goes against His Will.
