Unite and Rise to Make India Great

Now we are here in 2026, when almost all basic principles of Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and socio-economic justice have been compromised. All basic principles enshrined in the Constitution have been thrown to the wind. Almost all national institutions are being used to just protecting the rule of the ruling BJP.

Indian National Congress ruled upon India for about 70 years. There were ups and downs during this period.Fortunately, more ups and less downs. BJP, with a narrow worldview and a narrower view of Indianness captured power in 2014. Politicians are after all politicians. We cannot expect angel-like behaviour from them. Power breeds, pride and arrogance. Congress fell a prey to this and other weaknesses. As a result it was thrown out of power. The credit must be given to Congress for navigating India fairly well for seven decades.

Then emerged the BJP with tall claims of “sabkasaath, sabkavikas, sabkavishwas”. It added other slogans continuously to its ever-expanding jargon.

Dalits, and marginalised sections of society, are the victims of neglect by the ruling party. Especially, the Muslims are the worst target of the communal and negative policies of the BJP.

The 20 crore strong Muslim community should not get frustrated. It must always remember its contribution to unification, consolidation and development which they provided for this country. Their contribution had been so great that India became the greatest and the most powerful country of the world. It was called the golden bird. The most precious gifts of Islam to this country are the concepts of One God (Tawheed) and one humanity.

The worldwide Muslim Ummah, during its long journey of more than 1400 years, has seen many ups and downs. It faced countless problems, hardships and defeats but did not surrender to defeat and dejection. This is because in spite of external threats and internal weakness the Ummahpossessed the fundamental strength of faith and practical wisdom.

Indian Muslims are about one-tenth of the universal Ummah, and about one-seventh of Indian population.Their contribution is not confined to rebuilding and reenergising India. Therefore, the present atmosphere of hate, fear and fascist attacks must be countered with love, commitment and sincere service to very Indian citizens.

Let us resolve and start a campaign of rebuilding and rejuvenation of India. There is no dearth of good and sincere people. The Muslims should join hands with all such elements who are still in majority. They should never fight evil with evil. Good and evil are not equal. They should fight evil with good, hate with love, fear with hope. The Holy Qur’an exhorts the believers: He is the Lord of the East and the West. There is no god worthy of worship except Him. So you make Him your Guardian. (The Holy Quran-73:9)
