Former Union Textile Minister Sankersinh Vaghela has said that narco-analysis tests should be conducted on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and other Ministers in his cabinet to find out the truth about the Gujarat riots 2002. He said this while speaking to the media on July 26. Vaghela’s demand came at a time when the Gujarat High Court has just given the green signal for the Supreme Court appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the role of Modi and 62 others in the riots and a decision in the Nanavati Commission is pending on the contentious issue of summoning the Chief Minister for testifying before it.
