Every right thinking Indian would feel ashamed to what the controversial priest Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati has said about the most venerable and respected Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ at a press conference at Press Club of India in New Delhi on February 2, 2021.
What he said was most objectionable, defamatory and slanderous. He used most profane and derogatory words against the holiest of the Prophets of Allah. We cannot repeat those words which would injure the hearts of 200 crore followers of the great Benefactor of Humanity. It will make the entire humanity bow its head in shame. He freely used words like “thief, dacoit, rapist, pimp….” We cannot quote further. He is so brazen and his followers are so emboldened that they put the recording of his speech at the press conference on the internet and in no time it went viral. Unfortunately there is no dearth of poisoned minds in our country who instead of condemning, enjoy such slanderous speeches. So communal our irresponsible politicians have made the ordinary Indians.
This speech at the Press Club of India in the Capital is bound to have repercussions all over the world. It may cause diplomatic upheaval in the whole Muslim world. It is feared that the United Nations also will have to take notice of these slanderous rantings of a sick and deranged person.
The Central Government must take a very serious notice of this defamatory vilification of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The culprit should be arrested immediately and thrown behind bars to stop him from causing further damage to Indians’ image in the civilized world. One shudders to listen to his expletives used so brazenly against the noblest of the Prophets. If Modi and Shah fail to take urgent action, people would be forced to conclude that they are blind and dumb or at least insensitive.
All limits of gracefulness and civility have been crossed by this mad maniac. He speaks rather shouts like a mad man. Therefore it is a must that after his arrest he should be subjected to a medical test to determine his mental condition. Let us hope that the Indian Government takes urgent steps to apprehend the culprit and avoid the worldwide reaction of the whole civilized world. So much poison has been sown in Indian soil that the minds are contaminated and atmosphere is sick with poisonous thoughts and enmity. It is time to act and stop the rot and save the country from further ghettoization of society and poisoning of minds. Please do not allow anyone to promote enmity between groups and religious comments and do not tolerate denigration of religious personalities and religious beliefs.
